I'm 20 and never felt this lonely before. Help?

I'm 20 years old and have always been on my own. I have never had a boyfriend...not even a hint of one. All my friends are coupled up or nearly there. I am officially the last single girl out of everyone I know. I'm fat and ugly and no one is interested. I'm sick of being on my own and yet it seems like that I'm going to be this way forever. I just don't know what to do. My friends tell me that some one will come someday... but if they were going to come surely they would have made an appearance by now?

I'm 20 and I haven't had a date for a while. Why do you feel the need to have a boyfriend? How do you know nobody is interested? There are tons of guys who are too shy to ask out girls but are actually interested in them.

Your attitude is what is hurting you. No guy wants to be around a girl with such negativity. I've seen girls that weigh a lot that are cool to hang out with because they don't care what others think. They are just happy and enjoy themselves.

Someone will show up, but not by you sitting and waiting for them. This irks me when girls do this. Put yourself out there! That's the only way guys will start noticing you and see you for who you are.

I'm not gonna lie, when I see an overweight girl, I just look right past them. Girls probably do the same with guys. But you have to show that you are a fun girl who isn't insecure about looks.

You're probably not even fat or ugly you just think you are.

If you are unhappy with yourself, stop making excuses and do something about it. Furthermore, stop waiting for someone to come to you. If you want something in this world, you're going to have to seek it. If you are "fat," go on a fat loss program. No one is truly 100% ugly. That's rare. Change your style or do something that highlights your beauty and diffracts from you flaws.

I'm in the same boat, to be honest. But I want to wait for the right one. I don't want to be the three-am-call-girl, I want to be the one that a guy has an inexplicable attraction to and he can't help but think about.

You're going to find that someone. And when you look back on your life, you'll honestly be glad you didn't date the wrong ones earlier.

I'm nineteen and had my first kiss yesterday.

And I'm cool with that.
