If she acts interested when she replies, then it's fine. I agree with all the other girls that she probably just doesn't want to seem needy.
Though, I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but if you have bad feelings about her or her interest, then you need to consider a couple things. She could be not interested but acting so when you text her because she likes attention. Also, make sure that you're correctly interpreting her responses.
Ignoring that negativity, I doubt that's the case. I bet she is just more of an old-fashioned girl, and she wants you to engage in the pursuit.
She could really like you & not text you because she doesn't want to come off as needy.
I am the same way , I never text a guy first , I guess it's because of my insecurities.
She may just be waiting around for you to text her. It's pretty pathetic how I go about a week or two until my guy texts me , It shows me how much he cares... Yet I should return the favor by showing I care.

Nope not at all. As long as she is responding and showing interest when you do text, her waiting for you to text first does not mean she's not interested. She just might be more old fashioned and taught not to do much of the initiating unless you're dating.
Exactly its not that she doesn't want to talk to you or has no interest in you. Its just she doesn't want to seem needy. Try not texting her for at least a day or two. If she texts you within the two days it means she's missing your messages.
And don't worry if she doesn't text you within the two days either. Its not a terrible sign. Sometimes us girls are just really busy with other stuff.
It could just mean that she doesn't like texting. But that's just me. I don't like texting, so I don't really like it, so I'd never really initiate a text "conversation" with anyone no matter how interested in them I was.

No, this just means she does not want to "act" needy...I will not text the guy I am interested in unless we have not talked in a couple of days. I do not want him to think I am too needy
