I ask this because of my personal experience with dating and such. I have always tried to get to know all kinds of people, and I have dated quieter people but in general I find getting to know them kind of tiresome. It's like they almost give off this very anti-social vibe, as if they don't want to socialize but then they claim that they do. I am always open but sometimes I'm more patient than other times. I find louder, outgoing, social people, who are intelligent and provide good conversation to be much more relaxing and easier to get to know. getting to know them is more fun and feels right. hanging with shyer, introverted types feels forced at times. Maybe some of you can relate? They seem kind of irresponsive which can be very annoying, especially in dating. I guess I just like more open, opinionated, expressively passionate people. With shy people especially or quieter people I find myself being the one who always has to pull them out of their shell or break the ice. With people more like me, we can just start conversing about anything as if we're already friends. I'm the type of person who can talk to strangers about anything and very rarely will you catch me being reserved to myself if I'm in a room full of people. I like talking I guess and I like communicating with people. I'm openly emotional so it isn't hard to get to know me or connect with me if we are trying to get close. I guess I do wear my heart on my sleeve the vast majority of the time. Not very mysterious at all, but very complicated. lol I don't make a conscious effort to avoid shy, quiet, or introverted types but looking at the majority of my friends and guys/girls I have dated or even just hooked up with, there's definitely a preference for people like me. Still, at times though opposites can attract but in this case its rare. I can totally understand where other people may like the opposite but for me in general I prefer to date men and women who are closer to my personality.
