My girlfriend beats me, what should I do?

Hi I am 21 and my girlfriend is 26, we've been together for about 2 years, I am a student and she work.

5 months ago she started hitting me every time I made a mistake, for example when I look at a girl in the street she slaps me, also sometimes when I come across a p*rn movie on TV (or computer) she slaps me. I get angry often when she hits me and I yells at her but I have never used violence.

At first it was small strokes, but now she hits harder and harder, sometimes it leaves me marks and scars (it's already happened several times that she gives me a kick in the testicles, once because a girl had left a message on the phone for me, it was simply a friend of the university who wanted to invite me in a coffee).

I do not understand, I have the impression that she is jealous of every girl who talks to me or that I look.

But she is very nice and she loves me when she's not angry.

I am scared because I'm getting to the point where I'm about to uppercut her. She is tiny and small and I am tall and muscular, so if I punch her she will be completely destroyed and the consequences for I will be horrible.

What should I do? I still love my girlfriend but if I do nothing this story will end very badly, should I leave her? how to stop her jealousy?

I'm sorry to hear what you are going through, brother. Getting beat up is very degrading for any man or woman for that matter. There's no excuse for violence no matter how much she loves you. My ex was 5 years older and although she had never hit me she had been pretty controlling playing mind games on me. I ended it because I didn't wanna marry her and live like that for the rest of my life. In my line of work, I see many men who get in trouble with the law because they have laid a hand on their gfs or partners. They all claim she hit him first, that's how it all starts out. But you are right, she may slap you a lot, but one day you will 'lose it' and beat her up pretty bad. Usually, the Police arrests, rightly or wrongly, the man in such cases. So, just walk away for the sake of yourself and hers. Because the problem's only gonna get worse, unless you can talk to her and get her to stop being violent.

There can be a thousand reasons behind that. Who knows? Maybe her father dumped/abused/betrayed her mother and her, resulting in her psychotic mentality. She needs a psychiatrist to fix her, not an amateur "good friend" or boyfriend.

You should never be with someone the physically harms you. Do not let this woman have so much power over you. No one has the right to harm you physically for any reason. My suggestion is that you leave her and got to counseling so understand why you let this women tear you down like this. You have to love yourself first before you can love someone else. And right now my friend you are not loving yourself. Please for your own safety and sanity, leave.

Talk to her about it. tell her things need to change or you guys will. be direct and forward and firm. and most importantly be confident btu also reassure her in your love for her. she might just be insecure.

What this comes down to is HER insecurity, she is very, very insecure and obviously has some serious anger management issues. She's jealous about you looking at or talking to any other woman(even women on TV or in movies that you will most likely NEVER meet) because ultimately, she DOESNT trust you. Relationships are all about trust and respect, and if she can't trust you or show you the respect you deserve, then its not a healthy relationship. Extreme jealousy, and in your case anger/physical violence are MAJOR red flags that you must not ignore my friend. My advice is to stand up for yourself man, tell her that this behavior is completely unacceptable and you will tolerate it no longer. If she can't handle her anger in a healthy way, trust you(like she should already) and show you the respect you deserve, then you will leave. I know I could not handle being with a jealous partner who didn't trust me, and if it couldn't be talked out first, I would dump her.
