Would it be a turn off if a girl got botox?

I'm considering getting botox so I won't get those annoying wrinkles on my forehead. I know I'm really young to get it but it just really bothers me and I feel really insecure about it. Guys, would you be totally turned off if you knew a girl got botox?

Not a bit. If it bothers the girl that much, he peace of mind is what's important. I agree about discussing your feelings though. But then again, from what I understand the doctor is required to speak to you about this anyway to see if you're a candidate. If after speaking to the doctor, or a therapist, if it still bothers you that much & the administering doctor agress your concerns are legitimate and that you qualify, then maybe you need it for your peace of mind, but I honestly believe you have nothing to worry about for a few years to come, especially with the forehead. I'm about to be 42, I see nothing on my forehead, and if I look in a magnified mirror I may see the beginning of "crow's feet" at my eyes, & this is after YEARS of spending 8 - 10 hours a day for days & weeks at a time swimming & floating on rafts in the pools at Diaomndhead, Mississippi, usually without sunscreen. (Not smart, but too lkate now) People I know that are really fair skinned may have gotten that a little sooner, but only maybe a year or 2 ago, & I still don't notice them even starting to get forehead wrinkles. I hope it works out however's best for you...

I don't think you should have to tell a guy everything you do, I mean it's your body.

Do guys really need to know every detail of everything a girl does to maintain how she looks ?

I say go for it and forget what anyone else thinks if guys honestly knew half of what us girls did to look good they wouldn't know what to do

If it is truly affecting your self esteem, then get it done, although it will not prevent wrinkles, it only keeps them away from months at a time. There'd be no reason to tell a guy

I think you should talk to a therapist or someone before you do this. You should figure out why you feel so insecure about wrinkles when you probably don't even have any yet.

I wasn't asking if I should see a therapist or not cause I have an insecurity about the premature wrinkles on my forehead. I don't need psychiatric help before I go through with it. thanks. I want to look my very best and that's what I want to do to look it.

Why would she need a therapist? Because she cares about her appearance and it affects her self esteem which can stream into her personal life? Uh yeah, how about she not waste money on a therapist

I just think that you should get to the root of your self esteem issues instead of superficially covering them up. Otherwise you will always feel self conscious no matter what you inject into your skin...I think it would probably be cheaper in the long run, but that's just me.

Its your body. Do whatever you want with it. But there is a reason people make fun of the way Joan Collins and other celebrities look like and its not because injecting toxins into their skin makes them so attractive
