Girls, are you patient or do you get frustrated if a guy takes too long to ask you out?

There is a somewhat shy girl who has liked me for a very long time now and she knew I liked her. She would watch me quite often, sometimes avoid me, smile at me, fidget with her hair when I look at her and her friends would giggle at me as well. But recently she has started avoiding me a lot more, and I really want to try and get to know her since I've only talked to her a few times. She still watches me, but often hides behind her friends, avoid eye contact and turns her back to me.

Girls, do you easily get annoyed if a shy guy takes too long to ask you out?

I would say yes, because coming from my stand point. There has been plenty of guys I had a crush on for years and I moved on when they didn't make any kind of advances toward me. I guess it's a feeling of rejection just like guys are afraid for females to reject them...We are afraid that the "guy of our dreams" don't like us or worst or likes our friends instead. So if I was you I would start getting her to talk to you again or just plain out tell her that you like her. The best time to tell her is when she's dating someone cause then she'll contemplate on why she even chose the guy she's with.

Well, she's known I had liked her for around 9 months now (some moron in my school told her), but I had started flirting openly recently. She still watches me and plays with her hair, but she definitely avoids me a lot more than usual. Maybe I should try starting a convo with her on fb? I added her a few weeks back and she accepted on the same day. :/ Or is it too late to do anything?

Well here's my question... you like her... you know she likes you... why haven't you done anything about it yet? It sounds like she still likes you, but is trying to not stay hung up on you. She probably thinks that if you were gonna ask her on a date or anything you would've done it by now. Just go for it already!

I'm just very shy, but you're right. I have to make a move. I'll try to see if I can talk to her when she isn't with her friends, and if that doesn't work I'll say hi to her on fb. Thank you. :)
