Why are cute guys so shy sometimes?

There is this guy in my school who is really cute, and I catch him checking me out sometimes, but he never talks to me! How come guys like that are so shy, I don't think he gets rejected by girls a lot?

Shyness comes from a lot of different things. Attractiveness isn't the only factor.

Thats something most girls won't understand, because most girls who are attractive know it and are usually really confident. Men don't get told their good looking, so their natural feelings about themselves are more evident.
