Shy Guys, what goes through your head when you stare at a girl?

This guy I like, who I met last year and initiated the first meeting and every convo is starting to say hi to me more and stare at me. I haven't initiated conversation because I don't wanna be a pest and I haven't really had an opportunity. I asked him to chill last year, just to get drinks and chat but he politely declined.

This year the first time we saw each other, I was coming out of the weight room and he came around the corner and waved and said hi. He double took a few times while I was lifting a few times and two times as I walked by him, the first time in shorts and a tee and the next in a white shirt, camo pants and my hair down, he stared. The first time we both stared at each other till our heads turned. The second, he was talking to a buddy and stopped, seeing me, his jaw slightly dropped.

What was he thinking? Good things I hope lol =)

He probably won't try, because he don't believe he has a chance. And perhaps there was no real chance to start conversation for him too and he doesn't wanna be pest either.

Try to get a little more random time around him so there is more chance.

Shy guy might think like: "I am stupid and I don't know what to say, I am boring her ..." or something like that. So perhaps make sure that he knows you like being near him more than with other guys. He thinks that there is fault in him so rather than "I feel good around you" say something like "I like how You talk to me." He needs to know that he is doing well (when he is).

He's probably stunned by your beauty :) Typically when guys stare, and do not say much - they are (usually) not confident that they are good enough for the girl. For instance "I wish I had a chance with her...but she's over my league...".

His jaw slightly dropped you say? well I guess he's just realized the glow to the angel he was staring at.

Sounds like the guys has the hots for you. If it was me I would be wondering if I even had a chance with you. Or "should I talk to her?" and "what do I say without being creepy?"

Just start a casual conversation with him and see where it goes. If you talk about a restaurant that you want to try or a movie that looks good maybe he will ask you if he could take you there?
