Well, you cannot do this gradually without him knowing this. If he is intelligent then he will understand what you are trying to do.

I see nothing wrong or inappropriate with your wishes. It is fair and reasonable and I understand that.

Instead I suggest you should have a free and frank discussion with your boyfriend as to what your wish is. The best thing would be to make him realize that one can look good even in other ways. It is better to make him realize that he can still be appealing while adding some feminine traits (limited ones). Keep your points ready for discussion.

If he realizes and understands what you are saying is right then he will make the change himself. He will then do what you want. Your wish will come true

So first off never tell your boyfriend you want him to be more feminized. Just ask him to dress nicer when he goes out with you.
