Girls, what type of voices do you like?

As far as talking voices go, I understand that women prefer deeper voices, but what about singing voices? I have a pretty deep voice but when I try to songs my range is pretty limited. I really envy those guys who can get their voices high enough even up to falsetto range! I feel like they're able to convey a lot more emotion in their music than guys like me who are stuck in the bass/baritone range.

Just as an example, listen to Martin Johnson of Boys Like Girls (link below). I could never get my voice that high and I really envy him because the song doesn't sound the same without the falsetto.

When it comes to talking voices...I'm a sucker for men with foreign accents whether its a deep or low voice. When it comes to singing, I think Seal has the sexiest voice for a man. It's just so smooth and you feel his emotions in his voice. Plus he's British. But for American accents, I agree with you. I love a deep voice...oooo, I love when a man has BASS!

As for Martin Johnson's voice...it's a nice voice for the song and his career but I don't find it too attractive. Maybe it's just the song? It's too high for me but then again singers like Justin Timberlake and Robin Thicke have even higher voices that I just adore and can't get enough of hearing. I especially like this song and voice from Robin Thicke "Wanna Love You Girl"

I like most male singing voices, Martin Johnson does have a nice voice to listen too, it is high but it suits the style of most of the Boys Like Girls songs. It depends greatly on the song choice, deep voices and higher pitched vocal tones can both convey emotion, you can usually feel the passion more within the words and performance.

When it comes to talking, I love deep voices. When it comes to singing, it can be as high as Robin Thicke, or as low as that Blue guy from the Temptations.

I tend to say the deeper the better. High vocals don't touch me as much :P But then I almost exclusively listen to metal music, so I may not be very representative for my gender ;)

I like the majority of male voices, but to be honest... Lower = sexy, Midrange = soothing, higher = cute. Depends on which you'd rather have.
