Ummm first off, how about you stop trying to make a look that's not "curvy" sound like it means less by saying "rather than looking like a board". I know some of you chubby girs with flabs whoops I mean "curves" aren't all that happy with yourselves and the attitude many men may take towards you; but don't direct that bitterness towards girls who don't share your flabs. Look hun; if you're already so chubby and flabby that you are even in a position to be asking this, then you really can't afford to add bitter and bitchy to your personlity and make you look even more unattractive. Maybe the guys just think you're a bitch with a piss poor personality and they already feel you're at a disadvantage for not having the hottest body so they choose girls who just so happen to be thinner over you?
Stop blaming girls with better bodies for the reason you can't get a man. You can't get man because there's something about YOU that guys fnd unattractive and because YOU fail at competing successfully apparently. Take some responsibility for your own mess.
When guys say curvy, they mean she has an hour glass body type and has meat in all the right places, breasts, butt, thighs and some guys like little love handles. They don't wanna feel the bones and they certainly don't want their tool to get lost in the fat layers either.
I think they like 140 pounds max. But here is the weird thing, if you told them to choose between a skinny boned anorexic looking girl or an overweight chick they would choose the skinny one.
bottom line, we all know what a good body looks like, you can tell what's pretty and what's not when you look in the mirror... Do you feel great about yourself? Do you feel comfortable wearing your swim suit and not worried about fat here and there, then you are fine. If you are worried about an area like your stomach for example do something about it.
And believe me if a guy loves a woman he will love her no matter how she looked like whether she was skinny fat curvy slim fit or obese.
When someone brings up curvy , I think of Beyonce or Jlo. And to me they have beautiful bodies. When I was in high school I was very petite and I didn't like it. I was a cheerleader and actually wanted more weight on me. I had a gorgeous figure though don't get me wrong. Now that I'm in college . I have a curvy body I believe , I'm small but curvy and fine and I love it. I workout and I use to model. I'm 5'7 under 140 but I still have that curvy frame , People tell me all the time I've a figure like beyonce . I get hit on by men everyday , I'm from the south and men here loves a fine women. Not big but fine , Flat stomach , big breast and a nice bottom. I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world! . Girls that looks like your description , They really don't get hit on as much. For some reason, I think some guys have a different idea of curvy than girls do. I've heard VS models being called curvy but IMO they are skinny with big boobs in relation to their frame.
That's not true. I'm a fairly thin, but muscular guy who weighs 175 Ibs and my last two girlfriends have been curvy, and I can't get enough of them. :) I just love their body shape. Big boobs turn me on a lot, for sure. Sure, some people might find it awkward to see a thin guy and a thick girl together like in my last relationship, but I honestly didn't have a problem with it at all and neither did my friends or family for that matter. As a matter of fact, everyone thought we were a cute couple, and my friends and family always told me how pretty she was. While my last girlfriend and I didn't end our relationship on good and speaking terms, I thought she was gorgeous, even though she was curvy and on the chubby side (She was also amazing in bed too, by the way ;) and looked great in a tank top). So to answer your question, a lot of guys, myself included, get turned on a lot by curvy girls and have no problem being in a relationship with them. :)

I honestly do prefer curvy girls.
And I'm quite sure that other guys who say the same are not lying.
But you have to consider that although it sounds ridiculous, quite often it's very hard to tell what kind of a body the girl haves unless she's in a bikini.
Girls can masterfully alert the appearance of their bodies with the right clothing, and it's not uncommon for guys sometimes to feel disappointed seeing the girl naked for the first time.
What you see the first on the girl is her face. That's what you rate first.
So if the girl got the right face, the right hair, but not-the-right/too skinny body - which is hidden underneath the right clothes - yes, she will receive attention! But it doesn't necessarily mean that it will last.
Lol, you're clearly bitter and feeling insecure that smaller females are getting more attention than you. Don't present yourself as a hating bitch and insult girls who don't share your body type just because they rack up more attention than you do. Not a good look.

depends, are these guys saying they PREFER curvy girls or just saying they like them. Because some guys will still take a skinny girl if they can get one even while saying they don't mind a girl with a bit more going on.
Of course just because some guys say it doesn't mean they mean it. Just like when girls say they don't really care what a guy's body looks like, as long as he's funny.

Unfortunately many curvy women spend too long every day cutting themselves off from men like me.
I like curvy girls, but I don't like spending ages trying to get a curvy girl to open up and act like a normal human being.
i prefer skinny girls compared to curvy ones (not too skinny though) because I don't have a big frame and I don't want my girl to look bigger than me
to be honest I think it depends on the guy.
i know loads of guys that love curvy girls and I'm surprised at the number of guys on here saying they prefer skinny... but that is their choice...

I don't think that's all the factors when guys choose a girl. And you shouldn't generalize. All guys have different tastes, and if you're an ass doesn't matter what you look like. With the right amount of confidence and being aware of your body (what to wear), you'll attract someone. And if this is about one chick, just remember. There is only one of everyone. If they're off the market, that's less competition.
Well I'm rather on the thin side, and a lot of guys I know don't really like my body type and I've rarely seen them with thin girls. Hell, I don't really either. I wish I was more curvy.
When guys say curvy, they mean glamour models over runway models. So 115-120 lbs not 100-105

twigs? no. nor 12 year old bodies. Curvy can get a bit ambiguous. A little is okay, but not excessively.
