Dating a guy that is "too nice..."

Doesn't sound possible but I have encountered this situation! Met this guy a few months ago at my college overnight/admitted students day. The girl that was hosting the overnight had a good guy friend (he is 2 years older than I am) and that was how I met my current boyfriend...

Super sweet but at the same time he is a big flirt (out of a relationship)...he says it comes off that way but he doesn't mean to be a "flirt." He admits he used to be a flirt but then he stopped and started having real feelings. I know he is loyal in relationships and was pretty loyal when courting me but I have a thing against guys that so easily like a girl...if you know what I mean. It makes me feel like I'm not special - which does sound quite selfish.

He has a lot of girl friends as well...which is kind of annoying. Pretty sure he has had crushes on them and they've turned him down but is still friends with them... I don't know if he is with me just because he can get me or if he actually likes me. With the way he treats me and talks to me it seems like he does like me but looking at his wall and creeping on girls Facebook pages and seeing the profile pictures he has 'liked' and commented on it annoys me...

But let me tell you he did work hard to get me for a few months...he drove down recently 4 hours just to see me.

I don't know if anyone knows what I'm trying to say. I know you probably think it shouldn't matter anymore cause now he is with me, but I just don't want to look like the girl that let him in. He has had girlfriends in the past and he is attractive but so many times he is friend zoned (according to him) because he is too nice (again according to him). I know he is attractive because my friends have met him and think he is cute and so many girls are blowing up his wall calling him "best friend" so I don't know what my problem is...he is too nice.

I guess I know now why girls go for a**holes...or hard to get guys.

How do I get over these feelings and can anyone else relate?
