Are some people too shy to engage in PDA?

I've just realized I'm too shy to engage in PDA (Public Display of Affection). I realized this yesterday when I took my crush home and she started being affectionate in public on the train. I didn't know what to do in return. Partly because we had an audience and I didn't feel comfortable returning the gestures Are there people/couples who are actually too shy to engage in PDA? Is my behavior normal?

A little kissing and holding hands is okay. Full on make out, or feeling someone is inappropriate. No one wants to see that, and you really shouldn't. But don't feel weird about holding hands or talking sweetly to each other, or even kissing a little. That's okay and no one will complain.

You shouldn't EVER force yourself to be intimate. If PDA makes you uncomfortable, make sure you girlfriend knows and respects your opinion. It is normal to be shy about things like this, especially in the beginning phases of the relationship.

Ur behavior is totally normal, not all people/couples can participate in PDA. Personally I don't really care what people think or see, as long as its 1st base only. If more then I 100% agree with u.

Some people are just shy. I never focus on strangers when my girl is being affectionate in public.
