Well yesterday I was with my client in court. There was this under cover police officer (he had a gun) and while I was in court, he kept staring at me. Mind you, there was this blond girl too and she was freaking gorgeous and was trying to talk to him but he wouldn't give attention to her. I know for a fact that he is single By the way.

Anyway, when I went out of court he followed me and jumped on the elevator with me by forcing it open because he wanted to talk to me. He asked me whether he has seen me before and I said no because he is 29 and I am 24. I jumped out of the elevator and I was so shy. I said to him "well my name is noora by the way and I have to go... I will see you soon". And he said "I hope you will". WHY DIDN"T HE GIVE ME HIS NUMBER!

WHY ARE BOYS SO FREAKING SHY! I didn't wanna give him my number because I would be too embarrassed.

He was so handsome. 6 foot 1, muscular and so intelligent. I know where he works but what should I do now? I am intrigued.

Here's something to ponder about...maybe he doesn't need to get the number of every girl he meets! Maybe he just wanna talk to a pretty girl just to have a tiny ego boost. Maaaaaybe he really did think you look like someone he knew and was merely curious. Maaaaybe he has a JOB to do and he needs to be PROFESSIONAL. He is a COP. I don't think the job description means giving out your number to a random lady for many reasons...Just MAAAAAYBE...

Unfortunately I have to agree with Distant's response...you may have seemed as if you weren't interested in him romantically because he rushed to get to talk to you and you rushed to get away from him. He made the first move by trying to get your attention and talking to you, but there's only so much a guy's going to do if it's not reciprocated. To reverse this you should go and ask him out! Be confident! He clearly is interested in the way he was speaking and looking at you, I'm sure he wouldn't mind if you just asked if he wanted to get some coffee or something.

I don't think you should run after him. From what you said, he ignored a blond bombshell who was throwing herself at him and he ran after you to talk to you.

To me it sounds like he likes to be the pursuer (he even made a profession out of it) and I'm guessing he'd be able to find you pretty easily with his sleuthing skills.

I think you should wait about two weeks to give him a chance to pursue you. If you don't see him, make up a reason to bump into him at work.

In my experience, I've had a lot of guys, total strangers, come up to me and make conversation, tell me I'm beautiful, but never ask for my number. Its possible as in your case he just wanted to talk to a pretty girl.

Um cause that's not really putting him in a good position to give it out. You need to talk more and give him a little more notice that you like him too, then he'll decide if he knows you like him. A 4 word conversation isn't going to do much cause to us guys its too soon to ask for or give numbers. We'd feel like creeps. Cause we don't know what you girls are thinking.

Ya that's far from enough. It's more effort than what people make it out to be. If you really wanted his number you would have struck more conversation with him. Giving looks and non verbal communication isn't going to do it. Use words, or be straightforward and tell him he's cute but make it easy on him because a lot of guys are just shy and you have to realize that.

the conversation was just too short...if you wanted him to give you his number...you should have at least talked to him a bit more.Also you said you had to leave very quickly.Naturally he must have thought you weren't interested otherwise you would have stayed.

I think this question goes for the both of us. I regret not giving him my number but I wish he gave me his hahaha. I didn't know if he actually was interested in me that way or if he really thought that he met me before.
