While I can understand if an insect flies up to you and it startles you, but to be down right scared of it is kind of stupid after you reach a certain age of let's say 5 years old. If it scares you, stomp on it.
I have nieces (5 and 10) who run after cockroaches in the house and chase it down till it's dead and hit it with a swatter or a slipper.
You want to tell me that an older teenage girl can't do what any child can do?
I'll kind of find it cute, it's girls stuff to be scared of little things and that is one of the billion reasons which makes a girl cute ^^
ty for best answer ^^
I've freaked out seeing a large spider or some disgusting insect close to me. I don't know if I'm scared, but I don't want it near me. I just work up the nerve to get rid of it or take it outside and do it fast. Sometimes if my roommates find something they ask one of the guys next door to help, and they usually don't mind if they're not busy, but I don't think they enjoy doing it either.
Bugs startle me and I certainly am not a fan, but I see no point in screeching until ears bleed and being hysterical. I often will pick up a bug and toss it outside or swat spiders to death with my bare hands. And then apply germ x. Lol single life means taking care of insects on your own. ;D
I'm not squeamish about bugs or spiders or things like that. Only time you'll get a girlie 'ewwww' reaction from me is if there's something big ON me or too close to me that I didn't see, that I get surprised by, lol.

hah, no I think it's funny and then take care of it myself. I had to take care of a dragonfly recently that was freaking one girl out as it was flying around in my hallway before a girl came in. It's a shame though, I like dragonflies since they take care of the smaller annoying ones.
Well, it's common for girls to be afraid of insects. I don't really mind them getting afraid, because I know everyone have their own fears and we should respect the fact that we also have it. I'd rather help them get rid off it, instead of laughing like an ASS.
While I can understand if a person feels that insects and such are gross, but to be outright afraid of them is a little harder for me to understand. Though I wouldn't go spreading around the info if I knew a person was afraid of insects nor would I act mean towards them. Then again I wouldn't exactly like to "be the brave one who defeats everything". I'd do it, but I wouldn't get any sort of pleasure or a good feeling from doing it.
No. I don't mind. Well, if she's my friend, girlfriend, or wife, I would respect her fears, and try to keep bugs and insects away from her. Would I laugh at her? No. Everyone has their own fears.
It's irritating. Just friggin kill it and be done with it.
I would make fun of them and then kill the bug. Then I'd buy them a bug stomping sandal.
i find it very silly that girls get afraid of cockroaches but not of the big black long anacondas
I'd kinda expect girls to not like bugs.
its funny
