Now, my question is:
1) Does he want me to leave him alone?
2) Does he still want me but just don't want me to get used to his 'effort' ?
or 3) Is he testing me to see how much effort I make?
Thankssssssssss
Well that's stupid sounds like he may be not that into you. Usually a guy works very hard to get a girl and its the other way around. If he's saying things like that now then hows it gonna be a year down the road. I say he's a loser and you can do better. Also guys love the chase don't let them fool you and I don't think you gave it to him one bit. You should have not been texting him you should always wait for him to text you at least at the very start and then you could just a little. He's also testing to see if you are clingy and needy. I had a guy who I like whos been chasing me for a while and today he told me he loves that I'm not always around to talk and I'm making him work for me. He then knows that my world does not revolve around him and that I have a life. Ditch the guy cause he's a jerk and next time make them do a little bit of chasing and don't always make yourself ready when he calls.
Sounds to me like he does like you. Since the date went well and the fact that he texted you immediately after shows he probably had a good time as well. Although both sides should put in equal effort into any relationship. I would just take things slow with him. Don't rush into anything too quickly because then it might go sour very fast. Ask him what he wants out of the relationship. The key to any good relationship is communication.
