What do you think about industrial piercings?

I got an industrial piercing a few days ago.

I personally love it and I think it looks sick!

I know some people will look at it and love it, while other might not.

i feel as though after I've gotten it, some teachers and students have been looking at me differently? Perhaps it is all in my head but I know that the piercing definitely gives off an impression, particularly as I have an image of being a "good, quiet, smart girl" at school hahah so understandably some people would be shocked - I'm actually quite badass ;P

Anyway, my question is, what kind of impression do you have of someone with an industrial piercing?

and what do you think of the piercing in general?

love it or hate it?

does it make the person look more daring? sexually adventurous?

is it sexy? trampy? hot? emo? goth?

Of course the piercing in no way defines a person, but it undeniably does send off an impression - good or bad depending on the person judging.

I feel in love with them when this girl I knew came to school with one. I think they are cool looking and plan on getting one. For the most part, I love piercings. I have 2 in each each and septum. I love the whole alternative look ( thought piercings doesn't automatically mean that) I think that could make a person look all of the above, it just really depends on the person and their style. However, when I think of piercings, "trampy" doesn't really come to mind.

I wouldn't get one, personally, but I think they look cool. I think the fact that you have a "good girl" look would make it more intriguing. I dress conservatively and am a "good girl" type but I have a small tattoo on my hip. When I first got it, people were surprised. I think in your case it's the same kind of thing...shows you have a daring side, maybe? P.S. I like the arrow one...that's cute!

I think that they look hot, they show that a girl will not be pushed around. Guys like girls that are slightly dominant, and I think that these earrings show that.

They show that a girl can play hard, and guys like that. They give the impressions of: Sexy( in a way sexually adventurous) and daring.

I think they where a good choice and congratulation on them.

I used to have one and to me it wasn't that great. It has a unique look to it but it was a pain for me to have one. As for someone else having one, I'm all about the saying "do you". If you like it then to hell with whatever anyone else says. Just keep in mind that if you want to go anywhere professional, you'll probably have to take it out.

I'm pretty indifferent. It looks okay, its not as extreme as snake bites or anything, generally ear piercings don't make much impression on me - I don't mean this in a bad way, but I occasionally see semi-professional situations women with industrials.

i think it looks awesome although I typically don't see them anywhere except the metal/rave scene so I don't know how guys tht aren't part of tht will feel but for me and the people I hangout with its a definitely cool as piercing tht a lot of girls are starting to get...

Not a fan, and don't look attractive at all. Its like a needle through their ear, why. Its definitely NOT sexy or hot. I'd just think wth or why. It just looks weird. Its not something I'd even consider a piercing, some sort of weird fad.
