Well you can try talking about you and her , girls like that. Sometimes a guy thinks hey if I text you, about any ole thing the girl automatically assume he likes her. That's not true if every time you text me about work or something unrelated to me and you I'm going to assume you friend zone me and my conversation come less flirty and more friend like. Guys got it wrong kinda we appreciate all that other talk but we really like talking about you! Relationships us in a relationship and so on. If you text her try finding out why she likes you, better yet if your shy try finding out why she wants to be your "friend"..ask your new "friend " to go for a walk catch a movie etc.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder. IT ALL DEPENDS on what the girl is ok with. Feel free to even ask her and talk to her about it. It's not clingy or desperate to talk to your lover everyday. Now if you texted every minute and every second of the day, you may eventually run out of things to talk about and get bored. On that note, just work out something that works for both of you. Like you said, you guys talk mainly in the evenings. Find what works best :) Like I said, absence makes the heart grow fonder.
I would say its not, but if you're blowing up her phone then yea it would be a bit desperate
Since you both like each other I'd say it's not clingy at all
If it's always you initiating, try leaving it up to her for a while. If she hasn't texted you first for a while, stop talking for a bit. If she actually wants to talk to you she'll initiate it. Unless she's being a goddam Diva, and trying to make you do all the work in which case forget about her.
Stop texting her until she texts first. If she does, then she wants to talk to you. If she doesn't, you're too clingy.
