1st of April? A day people anticipate, a day people loathe or just like any other normal day of the week for most.. the 1st of April on GaG surely wasn’t a normal one at that!
As most of you are very much aware, GaG played a clever trick on all of us! *Naughty GaG* ;)
-Female Gag users profile were all blue and all the male Gag users profile was pink
-“GirlsaskGuys” logo was swapped to “GuysaskGirls”
-Everyone had an administration logo near their usernames
There was a lot of conflict with the update. I’m sure each and every single one of us were completely mind blown/annoyed or confused. Some of us thought it was a bug/virus, others thought it was their own device playing up, and some clever cookies figured it out..
I for one thought it was a lovely, amusing and FUN trick GaG played on us. I got into character by changing my profile picture and putting a Male as my profile picture XP *haha giggles in the corner*
I did feel around my pants for something to grow LOL and I typed every response I was giving on Gag in a deep low tone. I was very committed in staying in character!
A good half of us got into character which made the Prank even more enjoyable in my opinion!
I know there was a good handful of us who didn’t like it. I’m not sure, but I heard there was bashing of the genders? I assume people found it more annoying than it was funny, which is understandable. For a lot of us we were mostly confused.
Example: When girls upvoted/selected a poll option it popped up being blue and vice versa for the male users on Gag. GaG did a whole topsy turvy on all of us! AHHA XD

All in all, I think it made GaG enjoyable for the day. It was amusing to see both Genders get into character and commit to it! It really did (well I thought so)..
make us truly "connect" with the opposite sex
