How do you delete an update on a question?

I have accidentally wrote the wrong thing on my updates for a question. So is there a way to delete it?

  • Once you have submitted a question, question update, an opinion, or an opinion comment, you cannot edit or delete it. However, you can update your question using the "Update" link on your question page. You can also change it to or from anonymous by checking or unchecking the Anonymous box from the post.

We do not remove posts per user request. If it doesn't violate any site rules, we won't remove it. Please carefully consider what you post before clicking Submit so as to avoid 'post regret'.

  • No. Users cannot remove their own posts, which includes question updates. Once you have posted it, it can not be taken down. Admins only remove posts if they violate the rules and guidelines of the site. www.girlsaskguys.com/faq/posts

  • Ask GaG to take it down or just write a second update that amends the first update.
