How can you gauge how many people agree with your answers on Gag?

As a general rule of thumb, I'd say for each person who posts agreeing with you, there are 20 others who don't take the time to write a response.

And for each person who disagrees, there's a much smaller multiplier, maybe 5.

Of course, it depends on the type of question. If it's a political/social commentary question, I'd say the multipliers would be much LARGER, because people are often AFRAID to agree with you.

  • Upvotes and downvotes are a pretty good indicator, most of the time. When people actually take the time to read what I wrote. They take time, and yet sometimes it is wasted effort. It is a shame. :P

  • Sorry I don't really get it. Why would there be less people agreeing on various views?
