Why do people feel the need to pad their mytakes?

i notice that when people do mytakes even if they are giving good advice they often have sentences/whole paragraphs which are ultimately pointless in getting their message across. why do people feel the need to do this? do they think that having more lines will make their take look more 'legit'?

  • Most writer suffers from this - I think it is making sure point gets across - I have been reading for about 40 years - Lets say I have read millions of things but I would say that only a couple of hundred get their point across with minimum of fuss.
