Why do people use anonymous when answering questions?
I mean its not like someone knows you.

I know a lot of people who block, and don't use anonymous.
It's just a way to let people know that they're not them. They can still answer but would rather not be known. We're still people on the other side of the computer, it's just, you can't see us

I rarely use it. RARELY. If I ask a personal question I probably will but that's about it.
People block people a lot just because they didn't like their answer
Maybe if the question is kinda personal to them, who knows.
so as not to paint a bad picture of yourself?

I think some people have just got into the habit of using anon - I say half of the most active users are anon.
When they write about private things , for instance.
Im just too lazy setting a username and its late. Good reason right?
