Both my brother @dogbert444 and I think moderators and admin here do an excellent job. We both think they do a difficult job really well and are completely fair. There's always room for minor improvements, but this is a well run site!
My view is that it is a very hard job to do - Are they getting totally right? - No I don't think so but they are a good enough job - My idea of a mod/admin is someone who keeps the content of the site suitable for all users and are helpful to all users. To be absolutely honest I stay away from the sex part of the site and the incendiary issues so in my little bubble everything is fine - I was a mod but resigned because I found myself being drawn into controversies, sometimes I was on side of mods and other times I was on side of anti mod. I didn't think being a mod would be so complicated so I was happier going back to being a normal user still reporting stuff I thought was off and helping other users.
The only issue that I have with some of them is that some think that just the very fact that they are mods mans that whatever they say must be true and that it is not the place of us mere mortals to question their "facts." But as I said, only a handful are like that.
I agree with you some of the mods and admins here are way better than others. I myself only report things that I feel breach GAG's terms and conditions. People are entitled to have their opinions on here so if someone's opinion does not agree with mine I do not report it because I feel that is wrong of me to do so. The only time I report stuff is if the person is being disrespectful and rude.
