I have Answered this Question a time ago, and I stil stick to my same answer here , Dear... Yes, I always do, ever since someone very special on here reminded us all nearly 2 years and 10 Levels ago, that it is always Polite To... Thank the asker for MHO. My New one on This Now is whenever I get MHO, I make my "Thank you" More personal, with: "Thank you for the Vote of Confidence." I used to Say "Thank you for allowing me to lend a helping hand." No matter, anyone who knows me, knows what I mean with whatever I say every day. Good luck. xx
I have a strategy for this one: 1) If the question had lots of opinions and they chose mine out of all of them, I post a decent thank you sentence; 2) If it had a few opinions, then I simply say thanks; 3) And if it next to no other opinions, or none that mattered anyway I don't reply as they probably chose my answer purely because the system was bugging them to do so.
Meh it just seems repetitive. Plus they're already thanking you for giving good advice. it's like you're stuck in a thank you no thank you cycle. Then it seems like a waste of their time and I don't like bothering people with wastes of time you know :/
