Of the 6 people I have blocked, 5 of them blocked me first and I simply blocked them back to prevent harassment. One I blocked first because he got really weird on me so he probably just blocked me back for the same reasons I did it to others. As far as I know, 6 people currently have me blocked.
Of those 5 that blocked me first, 2 are women, 3 are men.
The women -
>> Woman a) One woman blocked me after leaving a rude comment, I answered no (with more) to her yes or no question.
>> Woman b) I have no idea. She called me a paranoid American, I didn't take offense at all and was nice, then she changed her username and blocked me, haha!
The men -
>> Man a) I've never had any interaction with him that I know of. He is famous fro posting whiny posts about how women are awful creatures, so I may have answered an anonymous post of his in the past disagreeing with him and he blocked me for that, I don't know. He's even put that in a question once, saying he blocks everyone that disagrees with him, haha!
>> Man b) I've had no interaction with him either, unless he was anonymous. From what I see now though, he's incredibly rude and a bit misogynistic as well, so maybe that has something to do with it.
>> Man c) This one has gone crazy on me. I don't know what I did to him, I disagreed (politely) with him on a few things, and it resulted in him bashing me on the site in question form and answers/comments, bashing me to my friends and other users privately, calling me names, telling people I'm doing things I'm not, and after I was STILL nice, he blocked me. Haha! I still have no idea what I did to tick him off.
Generally speaking, I think men use the block feature more often than women.
