Users cannot delete their own posts. Moderators can tempoearily hide posts but only admins can permanently remove anything from the site.
If a post does not violate the TOS, it will not be removed. This is so future users can possibly see and be helped by a particular question or answer. You currently cannot change a post to 'anonymous' after you have posted it. However, according to the admins, that feature will become available again soon so you could do that with any posts you do not want to be associated with:)0
