4. Sex is easier to get than ever

Men often complain about feminism, they hate it, but you're missing the point, feminism has made it more acceptable for women to have sex out of relationships and marriage. In the old days men had to jump through hoops to get sex, they had to in many cases marry the woman to get sex. Thanks to apps like Tinder, sex is easier to get than ever. So don't hate feminism, appreciate it, it has made sex so much easier to get. Thanks feminism!

3. Marriage benefits the woman

Many studies show that marriage is mutually beneficial, two incomes are better than one, the tax system favors married couples over singletons. Now take all of the benefits of marriage and compare them to what you'll lose should your marriage end in divorce. There is no reason for a man to marry in this day and age.

Men often put women on pedestals, women are Princesses, women are Queens, they are wonderful, their farts smell of Gucci perfume. Men love to put women on a goddess like status and worship them. Also what's the point of living to a ripe old age if the quality of life is diminished by the wears and tears of age? I'd rather die as a singleton aged 55 that can die knowing he can wipe his own buttocks than being an 88 year old man incarcerated in an old people's relying on a nurse to take care of me. So married men can outlive me, I have no interest in living past my sell by date. Actually, many women are finding it difficult to find a good man or in some cases any man. Since there are roughly equal numbers of men and women, such views as expressed by Anonymous need not influence a large number of men in order to be devastating to women (and that's before we even take into account the disproportionally male prison population and the disproportionally male gay population, both effectively off the market). But, I have to say, many men do agree with him. They just don't say it (at least to women). Or, more commonly, they merely have no drive to go for women, but they don't know why. I have a few close guy friends, most of whom are in long-term relationships. i think a great deal of the unsatisfaction the author of this take and the girl who wrote that post stems from bad decisions. choosing the wrong person to date, acting too hastily, not being observant, being unsure of what they want out of a relationship, and simply not understanding the other person's intentions.

Well I agree, lots of modern women aren't like they used to be. BUT there is one solution: finding a genuine good girl. They still exist, plenty of them actually.

Many of those men were good husbands who married bad women and the result is having to rebuild a shattered life. Now go and read about how many men are raising a child/children that are not theirs because their wife or girlfriend has had an affair, become pregnant, kept the affair hidden, given birth and the husband is none of the wiser. It's more common than people think, in fact it shocked me and really opened my eyes. That's not to tar all women as bad because I believe there are good women in this world but like men they are something of a rarity.

Maybe re-read my comment. I suggested that a guy should make sure that the woman isn't a gold digger. If he's not sure, then he shouldn't get married. I've never met a guy who had his financial life killed by divorce. However, my brother is dealing with divorce proceedings. But not because he has more money than his soon to be ex-wife. In fact, quite the contrary - his soon to be ex-wife makes more than him. He wanted to make the marriage work, but she was too selfish. I'm not going to say that men don't care for kids that aren't theirs, because I'm sure there is. But I'm not sure it's as common as you think it is. In my opinion, it's slightly easier to me nowadays to spot a gold digger after getting to know a woman. I agree it's unfair for a person regardless of gender to ruin a marriage that could have been great.

A gold digger is just one woman you have to watch out. What about women who cheat or women who one day during the marriage will want to break free and will file for a divorce citing inconceivable differences? 50% of marriages end in divorce and in my country the average lifespan of a modern marriage is four years. It can't be just gold diggers that are responsible for this many marriage break downs.

Okay, I should have re-phrased my comment. I meant to say to make sure that the woman isn't a gold digger or doesn't plan to let the marriage last forever. I'm around a lot of long lasting marriages, so I believe marriage can last a long time if both people in the marriage work at it and make it work with good intentions on both ends.
