I raised myself from the age of 11 up in terms of learning morals.. But my dad always told me only negative things about women so I find it hard to be truly respectful but of course I will treat everyone equally on the outside but on the inside I cannot help but believe women are bad... Some truth in that. There's still some of us raised like a human. We were taught to respect, we were encouraged (we won or lost, no 'good try' trophies for everyone). We had our ass whipped if necessary. We were taught honesty and lying was not acceptable, ever. Respect elders for their experience and juniors for their innocence. Teach younger kids the right way and be an example to follow. If we acted up in school, being suspended or having detention was the easy part, when dad came home, we were in real trouble. The more responsibility we showed, the more freedom we were given. My parents always knew where we were and when we'd be back and we'd be on time. However, the most familiar, the most remembered and the most powerful teaching tool at home by far was unconditional love. I'm so thankful I was raised right and now I can love, respect and care about others too.
