Men Know Best...Obviously

Before you comment actually read it and understand my POV. Don't just go by the title, it's supposed to draw you in that's the purpose. I'm writing this to have a discussion. Similar to my other two posts but with a clear point. I've realized people will pick apart everything you say and act as if your whole argument is flawed if you misuse a word or put one comma in the wrong place. However, their comment is grammatically incorrect and their spelling is no better.

Men Know Best...Obviously

I wrote two mistakes in the past two days. They both were featured and promoted which was shocking considering the fact that they were my first in the second time writing one. I got a lot of critisism mostly from men which isn't shocking. The first topic was about body positivity the second was on injustices that women can potentially face in society.

For the first post, I had a lot of men and women give their opinions, which I appreciated. However, I also got a lot of unnecessary comments. Many men were telling their preference on women's bodies. That's fine but that wasn't the point. Most had the nerve to argue with me. If you want to talk about what you're attracted to feel free but do it on your own post like I'm doing here.

On my second post that I posted yesterday about women you can probably already tell what's coming next. The majority of the people answering were men. I've gotten used to it. When it comes to Women they are usually the first that want to be heard. Nothing wrong with voicing your opinion but I should be able to voice mine. It's funny how freedom of speech only is for you but not for me either. What is sadder is the women defending it. Nothing I hate more than seeing women hate on other women.

I have admitted that my writing isn't always the best but no one's perfect, and I'm sure you're writing isn't flawed in some way. I don't mind an opinion but saying I don't know what I'm talking about because I'm a woman is invalid. How are you as a man going to tell me about women when you aren't women? That's like me telling you about how your life goes and the struggles you have to go through. How would I know? Oh yeah, I don't just like how you don't know about a woman's life.

Men Know Best...Obviously

I got told that men face different injustices just like women. I agree but my post was about women, if you want to talk about men write your own post. I don't understand why they never talk about the topic at hand rather than their personal feelings about something you said. For example in my one post, I talked about how being overweight and underweight was unhealthy and I had a few pictures. I also talked about how you should love yourself and should accept your body but of course, leave it to men to not understand the main idea. The majority of the comments were talking about how they liked thin would and objectifying the women. Again not the point but I obviously know nothing because I'm not a man and men apparently know everything.

Feel free to give your opinion about the main idea of this and let's actually have a discussion rather than getting in your feelings and name calling. That's extremely childish. Thanks for your time if you actually read the whole thing before you comment.
