Why does he only talk to me when no ones around?

I know this guy and he only talks to me when no one is around. And when people are around he's mean to me? Why does he so that?

Its possible that he's being mean for the sake of being cheeky rather than with the intent of hurting you. Its one of the bizarre things humans do when they like someone, im sure youve heard of the stereotypical boy bullying a girl because he likes her but doesn't know how to express it.

he's probably really self concious about what others think of him too, hence the different behaviour when alone. Speaking of which, somebody who changes how they act depending on who theyre with is no someone you want to be with. If they can't be themselves then you can't really trust them.
