How do I address my stepbrother who has been spying on me through my web cam?

My stepbrother and I go to the same college and we share an apartment together. He takes several computer classes and is very knowledgeable about computers and somehow hacked into my WebCam.

The way I found out is yesterday when he wasn't home ( not trying to be sneaky I just thought he wouldn't mind) I went into his room and tried to download some pictures he had taken ( that he said I could have ) from his computer to my computer. Looking through the pictures on his computer I came across some pictures of me, When I click on the picture to make it bigger I noticed it was a picture of me in my room in my underwear. Looking further through the pictures there was a bunch of pictures and videos of me naked and/or partially naked in my room and I noticed they were all coming from where my computer sits then realized they were coming from my WebCam.

I continued looking and there was close to 100 pictures and videos of me. I clicked on a few of the videos and there were multiple videos of me masturbating in my bed, me walking around naked in my room, and videos of me and my ex boyfriend having sex together and we broke up almost 6 months ago so this is been going on for a while. I am so shocked by this had no idea he could watch me through my WebCam or why he would even want to, im his stepsister!! Eww!!

How do I even go about confronting him about this? It is so awkward and I never once thought he would do something like this. I saw him briefly this morning and did not bring it up, He will be home later tonight and I just don't know what to say to him other than why.

ok thats just terrible. there's a few ways you can go about confronting him.

1) tell your parents and confront him with them. not only will this be embarrassing for him but his parents would be purely ashamed of him, i know i would. but its a good way of scaring him into deleting everything from the computer so you can have your privacy back.

2) you could go to the police, another, even better way of making sure all the pictures and videos are taken down, but to build a case against him, they would need to see the pictures and videos. but its a good way of i guess, getting back at the little freak.

3) confront him yourself, telling him you know what he's doing and absolutely shocked that he would be so sick to do something like this. and if you take this route, i highly suggest you get evidence of him doing this, for example film his computer and all the videos and pictures he has stored of you. that way if he denies it and deletes it and i dont know tries to scare you into being quiet, you have evdence against him.

either way he's completely breached your personal space and violated your privacy, who knows, he could have even sent some videos to p*rn sites for all you know. either way you HAVE to confront him about it, how you do this, is up to you.

he is a pervert masturbating to his step sister and spying on you. you need to put a stop to this. he needs professional help from a psychologist. and maybe a girlfrien too. lol

holy shiz, that's insane... honestly, the best way to confront him would probably just come right out and say "why the h*ll have you been spying on me? you creep" and try to see if you can move out or get him to move out... are you planning on still living with him? because I think getting away from him would be the best...

orr if you'd rather go about confronting him a different way, you could try getting him to admit it...
just some random ideas: ask if you can use his computer, and if he says no say why not? (if he acts nervous say like are you hiding something? *jokingly* though you know you're not joking)

or you can be like "hey I read this really weird news story about some guy taking pictures and spying on a girl he lived next to through webcam!!! can you believe that? that's disgusting!" and see how he reacts

or you could make a sign that says 'I know what you're doing you creep wtf' and hang it so he can see it through the web cam...
I'm pretty sure it's kinda illegal... I could be wrong, but if it is, you could put it on the sign and be like "I'm calling the cops you freak"

Put some tape like electrical or a dark colored tap over the camera lense when not in use.
