Type of moaning has a lot to do with your partners personality to a large extent. I cannot speak for other men (thankfully on this subject) but for myself it is based on taking what I want and the relief from working up to the point of cumming.

Technically speaking, if you can even call it that haha, a moan is there to tell your partner what ever he or she is doing is right and to probably keep doing it. If I slept with a girl and heard nothing, I would honestly start to doubt my "techniques", if you will. Basically, moaning is somewhat of a polite thing to do.
