I am a white guy. When I was younger (I'm thinking Middle School and High School), I did have a strong preference for the looks of East Asian girls. As I grew older, the fever faded such that I now see them as roughly equal with other girls. That early preference was never so strong that I would date only East Asian girls. In fact, I have only dated two (one was Chinese and the other was half white and half Filipino).
I do find smart Asian women attractive no doubt.
I'm just curious but what do you define as asian?
It's just here in the UK we refer to Asians as those from India and Pakistan etc, whereas we tend to group Koreans, Chinese and Japanese as East Asian.
When I come across questions like this I'm unsure how to respond because we all have different definitions of 'asian'

I wouldn't say I really have a super strong fetish, but Asians tend to have rich cultures and I just love to experience something different. I'd like to ride on an elephant with a cute indian girl and look at the sky. I'd like to learn how to draw manga with a Japanese girl and listen to shitty pop music. I'd like visit the Great Wall with a Chinese girl. I'd like to go scuba diving with a Filipina and laugh at some fat puffer fish lol. Essentially I find myself attracted to the cultural baggage that comes with dating an Asian woman.

I think they are attractive, but don't really consider it a fetish unless it is something a bit weird or rare.
Maybe, for instance, if one only looked at Asian p*rn or purposely dated only Asian women and wasn't themselves Asian.
