It seems like everyone on here feels that if a shy guy likes a girl he will be even more shy around her than others. Do you think this is true? There is a shy guy that I like and he used to be really shy around me, but over the last year I have made a bog effort to talk to him. Now he isn't very shy around me at all. He waits for me to approach him, but once I do we talk a lot and he doesn't act very shy. Does this mean he doesn't like me or just that he has gotten more comfortable around me?
He's more comfortable but he doesn't understand women enough to know if it's ok to go after you without getting rejected and dooming your friendship too awkwardness. You have to meet him half way. I know this because I'm shy too :( unfortunately girls never really"need" to do any of the work so they don't. Regardless of how shy the guy is..

It's true. It was definitely true for me when I was shy. As for the guy you're talking about, if he's talking to you it means he's gotten more comfortable around you.

The more time he spends with you, the more comfortable he'll get with you. Besides, you probably gave him confidence by approaching him all the time.
