Why do guys say that some girls are naturally pretty when they are obviously wearing a lot of makeup?

My guy friend just called another girl "naturally pretty" and said she had "beautiful skin" even though it was OBVIOUS that she was wearing a ton of makeup. I've seen her without make-up and her face is a mess.

Their was one girl I actually saw with out make up and it was cause my friends gf that I slept with behind his back cause I was wasted and I can tell you she was georgous in the morning with out make up. Other than that I've been singe my whole life and thats the only time you'll see a girl with out make up is in the morning so thats mely expierence.

Actually I've worn makeup that has lasted 48 hours. Estee lauder double wear stays on forever. She probably used a waterproof coat on her mascara too so it didn't smudgte.. The only thing that would have come off is her blush and lipstick

My boyfriend doesn't notice the difference in me with or without make up (it's not a massive difference but like if I had bright red lipstick on he wouldn't notice).. I think they just don't understand make up because they don't wear it.. But I take it you like this "guy friend" u sound kinda jealous ;)

Honestly most guys don't really understand makeup thy only see sparkly colored stuf like eyeliner and eyeshadow. Things like foundation and concealer that match a person skin they don't see it so they don't think it's there
