Guy staring...and not smiling...

If a guy you don't know is staring at you directly, longer than normal, you catch him doing it and then he looks away but looks again afterwards, does that mean he's checking you out? Only thing was, he wasn't smiling, just looking me in the eye intently...and we were standing pretty close so he was being pretty blatant...any ideas?...And if he wasn't checking me out, guys what was he doing?!

My guess is he doesn't know how to flirt... or was in deep thought... I know I was in grade school and id often stare off into space day dreaming; not knowing I was freaking out the girl across the room, but that was in 5th grade

from a girls opinion, I would say he was deffinately checkin you out. he was probally tryin to figure you out by staring at you so much, I would just smile at him when he starts staring.
