When a guy plays with your hair does that mean that he likes you?

My guy friend who I have a crush on, he is super nice but always plays with my hair, he will grab some of it in the back and just run his fingers down it. He is really touchy with me and all his other girl "friends" but he doesn't do that to any of them. He will do things like pat them on the back or the top of the head, (he will do the same to me) but he won't run his fingers through theirs like mine.

Not necessarily. He might have a thing for certain hair types. I really like curly hair so I'd ask my blaxican's friend her permission to touch her hair. It just felt so nice playing with the tangles lol.
And I used to have long curly hair and the girl behind me (A married mom who I befriended) would occasionally touch my curls. I knew she didn't like me, but I still enjoyed getting my curls petted.

yeah it's close physical contact, if a person you didn't know started playing with your hair you would feel very uncomfortable, so this person must surely be comfortable with you
