Guys: do you like it when a girl calls you daddy?

I always call guys daddy lmao. Or sometimes I'll say papi. I say in a tongue and cheek way playful, not in a serious or creepy way, and I know some like it a lot but I don't know about others.

I say this on top of babe, babes, sug, sugar, babydoll and darling so its not my only pet name.

Do you like when girls call you that? What pet names do you like girls to call you the most?

I like babe, babes, and maybe darling. Not sug or sugar. Sound like something a mother would call her kid.

In a more serious tone I hate that kind of connotation. I don't want any major and direct comparison between a girl's father and me. I'm not her dad. I won't treat her as such. It's like a daddy's little girl type of context and guys do spoil chicks so it's not too different. Though I know there are many couples where they girl isn't getting spoiled and she still calls him daddy in a sexual sense, but that's what I think of when I hear it.

Also it undermines the whole goddamn point of being in love and being equals! By calling him daddy you create a sense of forced authority, and that is not something we like! We do not want to be responsible for your actions, at least not in that way.

I don't say it in bed, I agree that's weird, I never say it in a sexual context. I just say it playfully.. Like I'll be like "daddy come snuggle with mama" if I'm with a guy and he's on his phone or laptop or w/e

Also @Red_Dragon made a good point by it associating you with her father, and we do NOT like that. It is downright weird. Actually, any conction made to parents is bad IMO. We are not them, and drawing that connection feels just wrong.
It's about the girl and the guy, not the girl's parents and the guy's parents!

@psychobarbiex It's funny because I don't associate baby with a child. While a little infant may be a baby it would seem to me that parents wouldn't say that all the time. More than likely they'd call it by it's name or some funny name like "snickerdoodle" or "gummy bear" or something. Who calls their infant baby all the time? However, it would seem for a while at least a little girl may call her father daddy. Even females who are adults may still say daddy instead of dad.
