When a guy says he wants to cuddle, does he mean actually cuddling or its a euphemism for having sex?

so yeah i met this guy on tinder, so i know that could be a red flag already. But we've been talking for about three weeks and he seems to be really sweet, never says any sexual comments or any double meaning things that could be open to interpretation. he is always respectful. I know me saying this could be really bias so i want someone's opinion. The most sexual thing he has said was 'what if i kiss you? would you slap me?" which is not sexual at all. later he told me he was in the mood for cuddling with someone and said that one day we should, and he left that there and didn't continue talking about it. so i think its legit just cuddling but im not sure, what do you think? im i being too naive?

Cuddling is great in itself. However it is easy for a situation to evolve where the two become connected and a cuddle become seen as a lead into foreplay and then sex. Consequently one partner (usually the woman) sees a cuddle as a lead in to sex always.
This is a bad situation as the value of a simple cuddle becomes lost and that is a shame and a big loss.
Try and keep the two separate to a degree so that you can enjoy both in different situations.

No, I like to cuddle. And I don't mean sex. Sometimes it's just nice to cuddle and/or sleep in bed with the person you like. Oh and he might get an erection but that doesn't mean he wants sex. It could be an involuntary erection. If I'm cuddling with a girl with no sex in mind and she has her nice booty on my mid section I'll probably get at least a semi. Sometimes we just can't help it.
