Do guys get erections just from texting a girl they're not involved with?

I'm curious about this. Can a guy get aroused or hard just from talking to a girl via text or something? If the topic of conversation isn't sexual or anything and just normal? Personally It would take a lot more to arouse me, if this is possible for guys.

Following reasons can do that
1. They have sexual chemistry between them (in this case even non sexual texting can lead to an erection)
2. He is sexually attracted to her (in this case even non sexual texting can lead to an erection)
3. They are texting each other suggestively thus leading to an erection
4. He has extremely high libido and texting relaxes him which can lead to an erection - albeit with some attraction to her
5. He's in love with her and hence texting her relaxes him hence the erection

Just as a coincidence earlier today morning I was texting my girl while walking (it's a brisk morning walk full of sweat) & I was getting hard. If a guy is having a simple conversation over text with a girl it is highly unlikely that he is just going to snap to attention without any prompting. Unless, his mind is wandering and is thinking about sex during the conversation which is more probable. It's said that an average guy will think about sex every seven seconds.

To be honest I think he's trying to make a sexual advance. He probably wanted to see how you reacted to a "sexual" topic of conversation. Or, he was trying to subliminally teach you what turns him on so he can use it to his advantage for a later sexual advance. Once again, guys get an erection from EVERYTHING. Even looking at pain dry can give us a random erection.

So without surprise texting a girl is more than likely capable of provoking a boner.
