It really, really depends on the girl. Some girls will do that nervous, blushing, fidgety, not forming sentences, thing, and other girls will come right up to you and flirt with you hard, batting their eyelashes, staring at you, touching you arm and laughing at your every joke- all that. Some girls, though, can hide it completely, although this seems to be less common.
A person's pupils are supposed to enlarge when they look at someone they like, but this is a really bad indicator, since pupil size will vary with the lighting situation, and a lot of other factors.
You kind of have to go with your gut feeling (atleast that's what has always worked for me), and if you think she might like you, just ask her out! :) I know that wasn't really the answer you were hoping for, but it's all that can be said haha.

liking someone is pretty basic. you pay attention to them if you're outgoing. you ignore them if you're shy.
girls are not 'weird' about it. its just that -like guys-womebn are not all the same. trying to use one rule and applying it to billions will absolutely confuse you bc everyone is different.

Playing with her hair, or earnings, or even her bracelet sometimes is a definite sign! When she flips her hair, or when she "accidentally" bumps into you somewhere. Or you find her looking at you in the halls, or even in class, she likes you. there are so many signs to tell if she likes you! you just need to watch to see them. If she's laughing really hard at a joke (even if its bad) that's the first sign that she likes you! If she seems to like you, try flirting back, bc in most "cases" if she truly does like you shell flirt back! ;)
Anytime she looks at you, smiles... Plays with her earrings or hair... If she's shy she might stay in the same general area as you and hang around for while to give you a chance to talk to her... She might drop something near you to see if you will pick it up... Or if she really bold (not my style) she might even pretend to trip near you to see if you will catch her...

Well, based on my personal experience, girls would always talk about the guy she likes to her best friend. She will try to be where ever the guy is, laughs at all his jokes (even if it didn't make any sense), dress more neatly, 'accidentally' bumping into him often , hardly talks to any other guys and always wants to talk to you
She'll smile a lot, play with jewellery and hair, bite her lip, touch you occasionally on your arm or thigh, she might start acting a bit giggly like a school girl
Well based on what I do, I talk to my friends, and I often try to be friends with the guy I like. She will do anything to talk or be with you, and she will probably look at you a lot...
