Why does my crush talk bad about me to his friend (s)?

One day my crush went up to his friend and said "that girl keeps looking at me" out loud, I just happen to look at him a lot accidentally when he's always the first one looking. His class is on the otherside of mine & sometimes comes to my side of the room. Then today I heard his friend say "why are you teasing her?" I didn't know what my crush said but I know it's about me because class just started & I was the only girl in there that time. My skin tone is a bit darker than his & my nose is big 😁 I'm assuming that's what he was teasing me about, I'm actually a good looking teenager, does he like me by showing it in a mean way or does he not like me?

I have ran into guys (when I was in high school) who have done crazy crap too. This guy asked me to prom over and over, I told him I had a date. Then I didn't have a date (because I made my friend go with his girlfriend) and I said ok. He was happy then he turned nuts. week later he acted like he hated me, then he got a box of the candy hearts and kept putting them on my desk in Spanish class and then take back what they said. long story short high school boys are crazy. But don't worry about it too much. Sometimes when a guy likes you and you reciprocate their feelings they get stupid. Or he might be just a jerk. Try ignoring him and not look at him at all, wait and see how he reacts to that.

Maybe he likes you, but I wouldn't get your hopes up too high. Just beware with guys like this, if something serious does end up happening between you guys, he might just end up saying the same shit to his friends again as a "joke"
