Ok so I just really want to get an opinion on this. Im huge on reading, I read all the time actually. My friends always make fun of me because of my personality. Im not really into any of the party/social scene and im quite shy. I love to draw, play instruments , play videogames and read of course. But I feel like guys won't like me for my personality, is that true? Do guys like laid back girls like me? Please share your opinions (:

Yes guys like girls like you. Thing is guys want girls like you but don't know where to go to find them. If you don't like the party/social scene then you won't like a guy from it. Just look around where you are interested in and you should find someone very easy.

Hell yes, that means she's smart and we would have something to talk about besides the boring things going on around her haha. I'm pretty smart myself so I need a girl who can keep up with me mentally or I get bored quickly.

Nerdiness is ok. I think every single one of us is a nerd to a certain extent. However the only downside to nerds is that they typically embody a lot of awkwardness and make it difficult to socialize with on occasion.

Ever heard of Jessica Nigri? Guys would kill to date her. Getting over shyness comes with time/age. Shy people will always be shy, at some level. But, they will be more social as they get older. Trust me. There are many guys out there, who would love to be with a laid back girl.

Don't worry, you'll go through the same phase all girls do. You'll try to break out of your shell when you go to college and start twerking in clubs and leave all the good stuff behind for a sense of belonging. :O

lol Anyway, I think the traits you mentioned are good and not all that common. I also am artistic, play the piano, read quite a bit and am more of a home body. I prefer small crowds to large ones, but I was really into partying when I was your age.
