It can be. We'd like to be able to wear them without getting any stares or laughs but 99.9% of the time we hear comments like ewww or it's nasty or it's gay or something. So it's always in the back of our mind what girls will think. Saying a guy is gay for wearing them is one of the biggest stereotype attitudes out there today. I'm definitely not gay and I loveeee girls. I like to wear them to get a good tan and they're so much easier to swim in and more comfortable. But I don't go parading down the beach in them and I'll put my shorts back on when I'm leaving. It's always in my mind that I should be careful where I choose to sit on the beach and I must be careful not to offend anyone.
Basically what I would like to see is a little more social acceptance of speedos. I think guys would be more confident wearing them too if this was the case. Girls don't have to think they're fantastic or anything. But it would be great if most girls could be carefree when they see them and just not think anything about it. Not stare or think ewww but just be like "eh whatever" That's what I'd like to see

Speedos are very comfortable to wear, but sometimes you can be uncomfortable/insecure in front of girls when wearing them.

If wearing bikini or one piece swimsuit can completely be acceptable in the case of the girls while in a beach or in a swimming pool, then where lies the problem in wearing speedos by the guys? Specially when the speedos or the swim briefs are designed particularly for the males. I personally feel much comfort in speedos while in a pool. And guys should feel proud to display their slender and toned physique (if they have or even if they don't) while wearing a speedo.
I am comfortable wearing them, In fact, Mine are smaller, as in less coverage.
My theory is "just do it", don't worry about what others think. and have confidence in yourself.

Meh, not really. I don't linger around the outside of the pool, so it's not like I'm out playing pelvic conductor around the pool. I also don't go to the pool and socialize with people, so it's not as if I'm there showing a girl my approval ratings of her. I just go in the pool, swim, and leave, and nobody really cares about my dick.
