If a guy says you have a cute smile and keeps saying your cute. Doesn't that mean he likes you?

My friend has a hard time seeing that guys can like her. So this one guy keeps saying she's cute and has a cute smile, and how she is adorable. She of course argues because she doesn't see herself for how she is. But he doesn't give up. He also did the couples hug to her, the hug from behind. He also constantly texts her and stays up talking on the phone with her. He will stay on the phone even though he is dead tired, and is about to crash. To me it seems to me he likes her. But I need wayyy more opionions to hopefully convince her. I have already had 4 guys and 4 girls say that sounds like he likes her. Help me out here pleaaaase

I think he likes her, she probably feels bad about herself and does not let herself think that this is true. He is definitely not just being nice, the only other scenario is that he is toying with her. Maybe she could seek out some info on his past relationships. I think that the main issue is that your friend does not believe. Help her to to feel she is worth his attention. :)

He most definitely likes her. I've spent the past 8 months going through the exact same thing from the guys point of view. Its utterly unbelievable how much it takes to convenience somebody sometimes, and trust me, I've done a lot. Its been well worth every minute of it though.

from your description it definitely feels that he likes her and it is quite rare if he doesn't like her because here he is spending all his time with ur friends texting and stuff and we don't usually spend that much time on one aspect unless we are really into it or person

I agree that probably he likes her. She just must have to be more confident to believe that someone can really like her. Well, if enough people answer here, just show her these opinions and perhaps she'll be convinced.
