Will a shy girl call me ?

There is a girl in college that I have for my English class and she is a very shy girl. We have been talking for about a month I found out that she likes me and I like her to. Every time before class she tells me hi sometimes with a smile and there's times when she starts the conversation with me or ask me questions about school work. About 2 days ago I gave her my number, I just told her hey if you need anything call me or if you wanna talk give me a call she just said ok and she said yes with her and said thank you. When I gave her my number I wrote it down on a sticky note but I had the number ready I hand it to her she got it and looked at it for a little bit and she took the top sticky note from the top or the stack that had my number and gave me the sticky note stack back to me. And she put my number in her bag right away is that a good sign ? I been wondering why she has not call me, Is she to shy to call me ? or did I scared her cause I gave her my number ? what should I do ? remember what I said she's a very shy girl. When should I ask her out ? please help!

I don't think she will , at least not the first time , she needs to get used to it and feel confortable about it because here is how it goes in a girl's mind :

1) If I call him he'll think that this and these ..

2) I really should not call him because I'm the girl , I'm the one supposed to be called ..

3) Anyway he has my number and if he likes me , he will call me .

You've give her too much stress , and she's undoublty frustrating about it .

Call her , just to initiate , don't make it long and ask about something stupid .. , make her laugh and then ask her for a little favor (let's say you've lost a book and you want her to lend you hers for a night ) ,

Anyway make a little busy thinking of you , and make sure to make the first call an enjoyable experience :)

Yeah you have a good point but I don't have her number yet I will ask for her number when I see her tuesday, but yeah ill follow your advice thanks.

if she is shy she probably won't call you. I mean I'm not even that shy and I cannt remember calling a guy first for anything I mean never ever. I used to get five phone numbers a day worken at a gas station and never ever called any of them you definitely should of just asked her for her number in my opinion.

Yeah my friend told me the same thing. I only see her tuesdays and thursdays iam thinking I should ask for her number soon, ill see what she tells me.

Regardless of shyness girls don't respond to a guy giving her his number unless maybe they're friends
