He keeps glancing at me and then quickly away when I look at him. Is he interested?

So there's this really hot guy I know, and I'm really into him. Usually he mucks about with his mates, but recently I've caught him glancing and me a real lot. Whenever I look at him again, he quickly looks away and keeps chatting with his friends. Do you think this is early signs that he's interested in me?
Also, I've got a poll, but I'd really appreciate longer answers too! Thanks :)

If he keeps looking/glancing at you (incognito) he's probably interested

This is at high school (senior years) and this is usually while we are working at our desks or during breaks. I know he's not looking at someone else as I'm the only person in the direction he keeps looking...

well, I guess I could say that I'm looking at him a lot... (glancing more like...) I guess I'm just not sure how to approach this, I've never really been in this type of situation before... I haven't got much idea of how to approach it.

@asker oh ok. Just keep looking and try and hold eye contact for 4-5 seconds which will indicate to him you are actually interested.
A smile his way couldn't hurt ( if you have the balls ;) ) .
