Why does my guy friend worry so much?

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate that my guy friend cares about me but I don't understand why he is so focused on this one thing. I'm not a little kid, but he is worried whether I have eaten enough or at all. Today he tried to get me to eat his banana and I told him I wasn't hungry and he said that I never am and I just eat cereal for dinner. He is going off the fact that one time at dinner I ate cereal. he seems to think I don't eat enough, which really doesn't make sense because I'm not fat, but I wouldn't say I'm skinny either. He is convinced I never eat. I don't really understand why he is so concerned.

He probably like you and feels like he needs to take care of you. It's kinda sweet actually, but I understand how it could get annoying.

Yeah it is sweet and I appreciate that he cares, but at the same time I can take care of myself. This has been a couple times now, so if does it again I'm going to try to say something. I've told him that I eat, but I don't think he exactly believes me.

Eating just cereal for dinner, is NOT good

I know that, that's not something that I usually do. The cafeteria had just opened and they hadn't started to serve dinner yet and I don't usually eat there anyway. I had to go somewhere so I just grabbed some cereal and fruit. On a normal basis I have a full regular meal.
