Why would a guy carry two phones?

The guy who i was with is speculated to be a player, I had an argument with him over text. I realize he had contacted me through another number than the old one he would contact me. I asked if he changed his number, and he just saud to save this number. When we got into a argument he contacts me with the old number. Why the hell he has to numbers?

What are some reason a guy would have two number?

I have 2 phones cause I always loose/break things or one for work.
Why would he need two phones? That's way too complicated to keep up with all the pussy. Wouldn't you rather have it all in one place?
Plus, only be suspicious when you hear a text sound but nothing comes up on their lit up screen.

As someone who's two timed in the past (never again), its really not all so planned and meditated as people think unless he/she's a complete insecure psycho that needs constant attention. Then thank god they cheated on you.

Are you worried he's cheating on you? If he was using the other phone to talk to girls he sure as heck wouldn't text you on it and get you to save his number, I think :P the drug phone was maybe all he had at the time.

Personally, I have 2 phones because one is my personal cell, the other is a business cell. I only use the work cell for work related matters.
Follow your instincts, if you think he is a player, nine time out of ten, he probably is.

If he's young he's probably trying to sell his old phone or he has a no contract phone that can't lead back to him for selling drugs... If he's old he might need to have one for work and he doesn't want it cutting into his personal life.
